The Art of Resilience Exhibit
This research project investigates how women of color and nonbinary people show resilience through art during COVID and how these voices can be ethically represented in art spaces. Resilience is a common theme in the lives of nonwhite people, LGBTQ+ people, and people who do not identify as cis men. This project explores the multi-faceted aspects of resilience, especially how inner strength is created from pain, and how different societies view it.
